In games played outdoors for football or soccer teams water the grass before games to gain an advantage. In basketball they turn off the A/C. That's why you play for a home advantage in the playoffs. Nothing wrong with it. Obviously someone tipped the Spurs that Lebron is a mama's boy and will melt without A/C.

Who cares. The game is being played indoors. It's not like they were playing in the hot sun at Rucker Park. My local ymca has no AC. Play fukking ball and drink some pickle juice before the game.

There's not 20,000 people sucking up all the air at your local YMCA. Even Pop admitted he had to change his game plan because of the heat. It obviously affected the game. And Lebron is just the most dominant and physical specimen out there and the level he plays at without preparing for that kind of heat, he will cramp up. Sucks that the AC cost the Heat game 1.

It's easier to play with a fractured ankle than cramps. If you've never had cramps you wouldn't understand. Played football for 4 years in Arizona outdoors in sometimes 120 degree weather. Cramps happen and if you get them, you are immobilized. And if you can't stretch the cramp out or have enough time to hydrate you are done. It's why football players who get cramps lay on the ground for 10 minutes. You definitely can't play basketball with a cramp.
