Parity, years ago the average lines were a lot higher. You see no name teams only getting like an average of 15 as opposed to recent years past when they would be like -22 or so.

These NCAA games seem all the same to me as I get older, Gold. Seems like we just want 3-point shooters and whoever is hot can win. Coach Knight taught how to work the court hard and get an easy 2, but when the team your playing walks up the court and hits a 25 ft 3-point shot, it proves to be a waste of coaching time, IMO.

Anyone an beat anyone now in college baskets, great recruits even go to smaller schools now. The coverage so so great on tv now that the mid levels can attract very good players also.

And to add to this.....the mid-majors are gettnig more respect now as well.

Northern Iowa and Purdue, what's that line----6?

And UCLA/VCU.....pretty much the same line.

I've done some digging only the past 3 NCAA's and Lines have gotten bigger actually, speaking for 1 & 2's only

Lots of Single digit Lines and Lines in the Teens that favorites couldn't cover.

The Tenn (2) vs Winthrop(15) game line was only -6 ... Tenn only won by 2.

Lines about right. Past teams were more dominate. The UNC championship team in 2005 was only favored by -27.5 against Oakland. Them or Illinois would run over anybody in this field.

Purdue is going to smash Northern Iowa!

then why can't i get any f**kin CAA games on TV??

In reference to the UCLA/VCU game, the local paper here states the following:

"Going home early: 6th seeded UCLA is coming across three time zones and must face VCU, which has some proven star power in PG Eric Maynor".

I wish this were the case! I don't see VCU coming close in this one, unfortunately. VCU should be getting 11.
