Implying that all of brazils/ argentinas players (the only teams outside of european teams that have a realistic shot of winning) dont all play in "european leagues and various cups." the first one in south america only contained 4 european nations, and travel was very different in the 1930s and 50s, now the national teams hold camps in hot weather to prepare for the climate. So disregard this "fact" and just pick the best team/ easiest path

who do i take?

Brazil? it sounds good but also sounds too easy and only pays 3 to 1.

Germany? will they even make it out the group? How hurt is the Goalie? Can they handle the humidity? Can they score enough to win? 5.5 to 1 pay out is very tempting.

Argentina? almost a lock to get to the elimination round. Best player in the world... but will he be double teamed? Can Argentina play defense? 4 to 1 pay out is more enticing than Brazils.

Spain? First question is how can you pick this team after they lost 3-0 to Brazil just last summer? They were missing a key player and should learn from the loss right? 6.5 to 1

Belgium 14 to 1?

Good goalie , Good defense, good striker... but nobody seems to think they are ready to win it all?? mainly bc the name on the jersey?

Italy 22 to 1?

This is a sexy pick but how much will losing Rossi hurt?

Why are you making it hard? Just make plays on a game to game basis, team "A" to qualify, etc. Too many opportunities missed locking your money up on one team. Too much sh*t can happen in a month (injuries, etc.).

i dont know i know nothing certain in betting but i am just trying to get a consensus on who the best bet to win it is.

i dont like Tie games so i'm not even going to mess with individual bets until the elmination round.

4 years ago i picked and spain and that won me a good bit of money. I'm looking to profit again in 2014.
