No, play has nothing to do with Tubby. According to Pomeroy Ratings, Minnesota is in top 20 in country in defensive efficiency and they are number ONE in block percentage. Texas is not a great perimeter shooting team, and Gophers will swat away shots when Horns drive to hoop.

i think texas has the talent to be a top 10 team
i dont think minne will beat them. texas has a lot of size andwill give minne a shitload to handle. i truly think ut gets to sweet 16 or more

LT, thats the exact same thing I saw when I broke this game down. I've got Duke beating Minny and then Villanova beating Duke.

LT, you dont think that Nova's guards will blow past Duke's with ease? I like the matchup with Cunningham/Singler as well. I might have Minny over Duke. I just finished the first round before I started drinking. Will try to finish things up tommorow though
