Well this is just stupid. You're right, models make mistakes all the time. Again, for the zillionth time... it's called variance. What you seem to be missing, logically, is treating a model like a sniper's bullet. It's more like a shotgun blast. If that center of mass is within a certain threshold, it's a viable play.
