MSU will be a hard out for anyone. That Varnardo is a beast. I think he's a much better defender than Thebeet. Look out for them as the cinderella team.

I bet the SEC is going to surprise a bunch of folks in the dance. They are going to get snubbed big time and only get 3 teams in (LSU, UT and MSU) but all 3 of these teams will give teams trouble. I am sure one of them will make the elite eight and don't be surprised if 1 makes the final 4.
The BigEast is the conference that I believe is overrated. Most of those teams have hard time scoring. The ACC will be the best and the Big10 will do ok as well.

I don't know if they can score enough to stick with the big boys at the top.

This is exactly why the SEC fans chant "SEC, SEC, SEC", It is constantly snubbed in all sports, football included. Even when the best football team is in the conference there is always talk that they don't deserve to be in the title. Even outside of football and basketball, the other sports get no respect as well. Yet when it's all said and done that conference is always at the top.
The SEC has had more titles in the past 15 years than any other conference in basketball. Nuff said.

They score more than most BE and Big10 teams... They play very good defense and the offense is serviceable. The tourney is going to be very interesting.

Any slight that SEC fans feel against their conference is completely imagined. The SEC has gotten more attention than any other conference the last 5 years, especially in football.

That was a real ugly finish. Bad by both teams and the refs sucked also with two terrible calls.

BS...
Did you forget Auburn going undefeated with that ridiculous schedule and getting shut out of the title game to 2 teams with not nearly as good resumes???
2006 all the talk was how OSU and UM were the 2 best teams that were on the planet and how UF barely eeked out wins and didn't deserve to be in the title game but OSU and UM should rematch. Well of course OSU and UM both got smashed but then came the excuses (OSU had a long layoff, they didn't show up, yada yada).
Last year LSU which only lost in OT was easily the most talented team in the country but voters tried to keep them out. This year, UF lost to a good Ole Miss team but that was the excuse voters gave that they lost "at home" when clearly they were blowing folks out. The computers (who the fuk programs them) had Big12 south teams all in the top 10 and we saw them all get their asses kicked with the exception of UT that should have lost as well. Once again all the talk was how OU and UT should rematch.
We all know the SEC is THE BEST conference in football but why the fuk does the top team have to lobby to get in the game? The SEC has shown up in BCS bowls and have won the last 3 national titles despite all the haters.
Do you want me to go on in basketball? It gets worse in basketball where its teams constantly get shut out of the dance. SEC has won the title more times than any other conference in the last 15 years, have put a bunch of teams in the final four (I think slightly behind the ACC) yet consistently it gets less teams invited??? One year UF and LSU both made the final four even with poor seating by the commitee.
Call it East coast bias what have you but the media always looks for reasons to put the conference down. They just figured out in football that they only look stupid and shouldn't go there anymore.

Look, your obviously biased here. As a Canadian with no allegiance to any team, I'd like to think I'm not. As a whole between B-Ball and football, I hear more about the SEC than any other conference. Plus, you just invalidated yourself by saying that even the computers were against the SEC. Seriously, you think the whole ****ing system. The computer rankings are based on time tested, math based formulas.. to suggest theyre anything but a solid, completely objective measure is absurd.

Have you looked at the computer programming?? Have you looked at its criteria? Do you know how it weighs its system? The computers are not the problem its the people that program the computers that are BS. Do you need examples of the computers fallacies??? How could an undefeated Alabama be behind a 1 loss Texas Tech, UT and OU teams one week near the end of the season??? How could Texas Tech be ahead of UF when they both had 1 loss but UF had a stronger SOS? Time tested, math based formulas... HAHA, you are funny.
Your in Canada, what do you know about american football let alone the BS BCS system. Your obviously biased since you think just because you hear alot about the SEC that the system is not fair to the conference. Just because your tired of hearing about the SEC doesn't change the fact that it is the best conference regardless of stupid computers. How accurate were the computers about OU and TT? How accurate were the about UM/OSU 2 years ago. The SEC spits in the face of those computers and I in yours since you clearly don't have a clue

^^^ I'm just fuking with you but explain to me how a computer could have OU ranked ahead of UT after UT beat them at a neutral site??? If 2 teams have the same record but 1 team beat the other, who would you say was the better team? The more deserving team?
I could give you hundreds of example of the BS computers. I'm talking cases where a team beats another team and the computer still ranks that team ahead The computers are the worse to use in football because they lack common sense.

Youre arguing a case you can't win. These rankings have been proven to be the best objective system we have. I doubt you do well gambling if you can't recognize their power and importance.

You can't look at heads up stats when 3 are tied with 1 loss and beating each other.
WIth that said, I am an SEC homer.

I'm sorry but anyone who thinks the SEC is even comparable to the Big East this year in NCAAB, knows nothing about basketball.

That five second call was a joke, 99 percent of the times an official gives the timeout there, SEC got in another team for their conference which is what I expected before the game started.
