Its been about ten years since their magical run to the elite 8, and here we are a decade later and they seem to be a sweet sixteen contender every year, they just kind of came out of no where.

You don't think North Dakota State is excited, first year eligible and they are making the tourney.


These small schools get so much coverage if they make the tourney and get national attention, and while most of those teams will not win a game, getting therecan be such a recruiting tool and raise money for their respective universities

San Diego beat UConn last year. VCU beat Duke the year before. Bucknell. Manhattan. Vermont. ETSU. Santa Clara. Cleveland State. Richmond. Richmond. Siena. Siena.

Villanova was an 8 seed. They were a bubble team at the time.
