you can get your limits cut at specific things, not kicked out of the book or limited overall, I think at least

Other than Cy's situation I can't recall anybody getting booted from Pinnacle.

So, the consensus is don't bet chess and you'll be OK at Pinnacle.

I think that 99.99% of people will be OK at Pinnacle.

If you don't bet bad lines is tough to get kicked out. It seems to occassionally happen, but is extremely rare. Usually a friend of a friend type story that occassionally has the bad line betting that isn't mentioned. The chess story seems like the type of situation were the player could have stayed at Pinnacle if he worked with them on the issue, but decided to take a stand over a $100 bet. Certainly not the norm.

Pinnacle has lots of sharp players..The volume overcomes the fact that there are those who may win consistently..I believe if a player is beating any book all the time, that players limits will be changed..The book wants to book the player, not the player booking the book..If a player is booking you, I change things..If a guy is always in front of the move, he is in a information highway that will be tough to beat..Its the books decision to stay with it, or terminate the action..

As alrdy mentioned, i only heared of that when players bet into bad lines aka "chance takers". I dont think they ever boot someone for winning.

Long term winners provide very valuable information.

Pinnacle chooses to use this info for free rather than ban people and hire people to provide this info...

sean makes a point here...having sharp players can help you tell ahead a time which way a line is going to fluctuate...
