I don't agree. The Lakers have their number and without Gooden the Spurs had basically no shot in a seven game series, just like last year, imho. With Gooden and a healthy Ginobili, it's a different story.

they are in the exact same spot they were in before. maybe they beat utah now instead of losing, but they aint beating la anyway you cut it, in my opinion

I've watched enough Gooden when he played for Cleveland that if I never see him again, I'd be ok. He has a lot of talent, as he can get rebounds, hustles, can shoot the mid range (even with poor form) and is an energizer bunny BUT he is the tin man. If he only had a brain. He has one of the lowest basketball IQ's in the league. His bonehead mistakes take away from his talent. He will have you cheering one minute then scratching your head the next. He refuses to play defense, especially off ball so he leaves his teammates out to dry.

One of the last games he played for Cleveland, he took a long 25 footer, early in the shot clock where the Cav's was winning by 1 point with like 30 seconds in the game. The opposing team would have had to foul but this idiot bails them out with a BS move. Lebron cussed his ass out in front of everyone. They still won the game but he was history in Cleveland after that.
