    **** and **********.

Seriously, received a letter from PC ********** they reduced my credit limit by $1000, also got a letter from ****, they lowered me by $900.

Doesn't bother me, my **** limit was high and they knocked it down by a lousy $900, my ********** had a $2000 limit, now down to $1000, I can understand this as I only have had a ********** for less than a year, my **** has been in good/excellent standing with CIBC since 2001.

For accounts in good standing, I thought it was their policy to periodically raise limits, not lower them.

I was a victim of debit card fraud, and since then I've done away with plastic. One card, used sparingly.

Did you actually lose any money in the end? Or did your bank refund it to you?

My limits have been raised every year in November from 2002 until 2008, my limit has not changed from 2008 until this past week when it was reduced by $900.

I don't need the limit I have with **** (almost $10K), I was actually thinking of having it reduced to $5000, thats more than enough.

The bank did credit my account for the full amount of the theft. Just pissed me off being breached like that.
