they push and bite each other until one dies..

btw.. a beta is a dirty fish.. don't overfeed and change water often.. or it will die in its' own filth..

a tank with a filter is better for a beta.. the filter cleans the water and you don't have to change it..

or put live plants in there.. the roots use the excrements to feed on and keep the water clean..
