I heard that Alex P. Keaton might be making a cameo.

      I remember him (vaguely)

That'd be something if the only Canuck to show is a ghost.

I'm giving it some thought but I need my hand held while crossing the 49th parallel.

I believe that Mudcat is at about 4% or so for a yes.

Fiveteamer will probably show up with MadMaxx, and then we're all fukked.

Plommer just blew his entire load (pun) in Cuba.

        Not sure bout any others.

Open bar + Fiveteamer = huge expense for SBR ownership.

I heard Don Cherry is really JJ Gold.Does Grapes still have a bar in Hamilton? It's close to Kopps Colloseum?I was there in 87 when a Canada Cup was going on in September and Grapes was there. His kid was with him,not sure if Blue was around. His kid seemed like a nice guy but nothing like the old man.Got to talking to him about filming locations in Minnesota for a hockey flick. Is his kid gay?Jesse Ventura's kid is alot like Cherry's kid with film production.Grapes was busy giving an interview so I asked his kid Tim if he could send me some autographs.Got back home and 3 days later a wad of them were in an envelope.I guess Grapes is a nice guy under that rough exterior.

I'm willing to bet that Fiver would be under the table before either AMBy or I are buzzed if he matched us drink for drink.

                  Blitty, my skates are retired.

Brent, he owns lots of bars. Not sure where they're all scattered about these days.

I am keeping an open mind about it. I would need to hear more details and wait until it was closer to decide.

I don't drink or get high and I am a bit uncomfortable if it's mainly a bunch of guys getting messy. I have no objection to guys doing that but it's not a lot of fun for me. But if there are some real players there to gab with about the industry and strategy and philosophy and making money, that would interest me.

I hope the Nickleback thing was a joke.

Canadians are not know to go to bashes for whatever reasons they have. We have a lot of solid Canadians posters here too.

You should go, Mudder. I brought nothing to the table last year but thoroughly enjoyed myself sitting at dinner one night with Ganch, Justin, JoshW, RickySteve and several others. It was worth it just to listen to some of Fez's stories.

If I analyze it, my thinking can be summed up, "If it's going to be like the forum, I would consider it a waste of time and there's no way I would go."

But maybe I should change my thinking to, "If it's going to be like the times I have met with stumpage and cobra_king, that would be very worthwhile.

Most of the things that make the forum so pointless probably don't translate to an in-person situation. I'll pay more attention to what is really happening as it gets closer.

The riff-raff wasn't there last year, Mudcat. I know how you feel. I live in Vegas and even hesitated at the door. I'm glad I went though. It was certainly enjoyable. And I'm positive that you will find some excellent handicapping dialogue there.
