Best golfer in the world since Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer.

After 9 holes in the 1st round of the WGC, he was at -1. On Betfair, in the "leader after 1st round" market, someone was offering 1000-1 that he would be the first round leader.
Mickelson birdied the next 3 holes and was at -4 through 12 holes. The leader was at -7.
The offer for 1000-1 was still up. I took it, only $4 available to win $4,000. Mickelson birdieing 3 of the last 6 holes for a share of the 1st round lead at that point was not 1000-1, more like 25-1.
He made par the next 3 holes and was still -4 through 15 holes.
Only chance I had at this point was if he birdied the last 3 holes.
He easily birdied the 16th when his appraoch shot landed about 4 feet from the hole.
On the 17th hole, he was a few yards off the green after 2 shots. He needed to chip in for me to stay alive.
He made it.
On the 18th hole, he was a few yards off the green after 2 shots. He needed to chip in for me to get a share of the lead.
He made it.
He ended up -7, tied with 3 others, so I got 1/4 of the $4,000, or $1,000.
It was the luckiest, luckiest, luckiest win I ever had. I figure the chances of consecutive chip ins on 2 holes is in the order of around 10,000-1.
Thank you lefty.
