Schools That Will Get At-Large Bids But Don't Deserve It

I'll start with Butler and Xavier.

Butler plays in a weak conference and couldn't even win the Horizon League Tourney on their home court.

Xavier couldn't even make it to the championship game of the Atlantic 10, plus they've been highly over rated all year.


Hopefully the committee denies both of these teams a bid and tells them to have fun in the NIT, but unfortunately, I doubt this will happen.

What has A & M done this year that sets them apart from other at large teams. The Big 12 is not very good. Look at the last few days. The regular season champ was all new starters and freshmen.

you win 23 games in the big12 and and beat lsu and mizzu this year and you deserve to get in. its 1 and out teams like st. marys that dont deserve the bid imo.

I agree with seaborne; my Aggies really have no business in this tournament, but you have to fill the 65 slots with something. While they are better than some of the auto bids handed out, A&M still didn't prove much to me this season. No reason for any school that doesn't finish at least third in their conference to go if you ask me.

That said, I'll be looking forward to an A&M-UConn matchup next weekend just to talk shit with Dozer in the office a little
