My buddy showed me the pattern for pac man. You would NEVER get eaten. We played for like 10 straight hours one day...once you got to like 1 million points it reset itself to zero..

My favorite game might of been Kaboom using the paddle to catch the bombs. Loved that game.

Atari's "Adventure". Ever get eaten by a dragon while carrying the magnet? Get carried around inside the dragon by a bat until the magnet pulled the sword to you, killing the dragon...

The catacombs... The "secret" room you unlocked with the invisible grey dot, wow those were good times.

Adventure was awesome.

Dude, I'm old enough to remember when PONG was the shit. Kaboon was my favorite game for atari. Actually just about all games made for atari by activision kicked ass at the time. I had a but load of games during the day, and now that I see them here, I can't believe how good I thought they were.

I flipped Frogger once (scoring so much it resets the score to zero). I liked most of the games for Atari. Pitfall, Space Invaders, and Donkey Kong Jr. were among my favorites.

I would play for hours.. took 3 kids asking for it to get it on christmas.. Never had a commodore or Atari 5200 (too expensive).. but didn't matter.. we had the 2600 for 10+ years.. we had "made it"

It got old for us after a while. We would rather go play ball or ride bikes than play vids usually. Didn't get another console until NES. That's when console gaming really got fun.

You know it, Bimmer. And that's a sweet looking controller for the C64, I know mine weren't that nice.

Sorry about the Cal pick, I knew they'd start slow and sure enough they came back in the end only to suffer the traditional curse of Pac-10 officiating. I'm gonna start designing a robut[sic] to officiating college hoops, because every year it's getting worse.

whoever posted that Donkey Kong vid, that had to be arcade, cause i don't remember it looking that good on Atari or Colego vision.

there was alot of games i played the shit out of on Atari, and as RW mentioned the activision games were cool.
i remember having Pitfall 1 and II, Barnstorming, chopper command, grand prix. i also remember having some star wars games, and a Popeye the Sailor game, oh and Demon Attack and Asteroids, also there was some game with dune buggies or something and you raced and jumped over one and other, i think it was called Up-n-Down.
