My advice to the board regarding college conference tourney games

Do not bet hard on sides or ML's at this stage. Only bet totals. The teams are not used to be playing so many games at weird times every day in such a short span. This is why you see upsets. Save your money for march madness or NIT where teams have more time to prepare and the games are meaningful and not meaningless like these conderence tourneys.

The big 10 has been strong on the under for the 11AM game on day one for what seems like years.....An 11am start in an an empty arena, with often teams that play rugged styles to begin with...

Totals aren't any easier to cap in these tourneys because you have funky starting times & varying days of rest for teams.

Pavy, I dont agree with you. I think totals are still great bets but I think sides are still beatable. By now, you should be capping games WITHOUT stats if you're a hardcore NCAAB bettor.

I said don't bet these games hard...This translates to reduce your unit/bet size for these games...If you bet $100 per game bet $30 for these games...Don't go all in on an 11:00 am game on a team that has their season already done...

Don't bet all day long every day and wonder what went wrong.
Have a clue about the teams you are betting on. Sometimes it is like men against boys.
Don't tail someone and then blame them if you lose.
If you think the game is going to be very close, buy points in your direction.
If you bet a team because you think their name is cool, you should lose.
Betting tons of games and not being able to hit a nice % over 50, and you will be loved by the books.
Don't jump on a post and pretend you are on the side that is winning. usually a big sign of weakness, and means you are clueless!
