Goldschmidt is a stud though. Trumbo also a decent hitter. Perhaps Mets can trade Henry Mejia to them for their rookie SS. (Not Gregorious but the other guy).

It's way to early to judge a team from just 14 games into the season. This team will not lose 100 games this year guaranteed. They have way too much talent offensive wise. The pitching sucks so far but their offense will keep them near .500 before the season ends.

You're not going to lose 100 games when you have Goldschmidt(top five player in baseball), Trumbo (rbi machine), and Prado at the core of the lineup. They also have excellent team defense.

The Cubs and Astros will lose 100 games but Dbacks are much better.

Sure. That's easy. 'Stros, Twins (you think the Dbacks rotation is bad, look at the Twins LOL), Cubs, and Marlins. Phillies too, perhaps. Very questionable whether they can win 70+ games.

They are hardly the worse team in the majors. Starting pitching is shaky. Miley and Arroyo will be ok, Corbin going down hurt. Cahill is garbage outside of any pitcher's park but everyone knew that already. McCarthy is below average but Collmenter can hold his own. Bullpen about the same as last year, maybe slightly improved. They will finish 5 games under .500. They have played 12 of their 15 games against the Dodgers and Giants. Mets, Cubs, and Phillies are coming up. Relax.

I agree cubs and Astros are far worse, but 3 hitters (one that hits homers or nothing) don't guarantee success. 3 good pitchers on the other hand....
