No correlation between WBC scores?

I felt like an idiot when I took Mexico -2.5 v. Australia. I posted my play here and Mexico lost 17-7. I feel vindicated now because in the rematch Mexico won 16-1. Although I felt confident they'd win the rematch, I passed because they lost the last game to Australia by 10 runs and the Netherlands team has proven that we should expect the unexpected.

Anyway, is there any correlation in WBC scores from one game to the next?

Is this tournament the ultimate coin flip?

That's great. I took Korea ML v. Japan when they were blown out, not in the rematch when they won. Then I took Mexico when they were blown out, not in the rematch when they won. Do you see a pattern here? Timing is everything. In this case whether or not you have good timing seems to be luck.

my one loss was to Mexico too, I had South Africa +5.5 +115 and it was a 4-3 game during the 7th and Mexico just lit up the score board in those last few innings and won by around 10 runs ............

The USA just lost 11-1 v. Puerto Rico in 7 innings. Yet another example of what I'm talking about.
