Lighten up, Francis, you'll blow an o-ring. Would please me to no end to have diogee back here. Maybe things will work out in the end, but in the meantime you really should check this out.

Roasted Cherry Tomato & Basil Fettuccine
3 cups cherry tomatoes, sliced in half
2 cloves garlic, pressed
½ cup chopped pancetta
1/3 cup chopped fresh basil
4 green onions, chopped
some lemon zest
salt
pepper
olive oil
juice of ½ lemon
favorite pasta (I just happened to use fettuccine)

Slice cherry tomatoes in half. Place in baking dish, roast in oven set at about 225°F for 20 minutes. Remove from oven and keep handy.

Start your pasta. Time accordingly, rest takes about 10-12 minutes.

In a frying pan add the pancetta, sizzle for a minute. Then add onions/shallots, garlic, lemon zest and some olive oil, saute for a few minutes. Add roasted tomatoes, lower heat, stir for a few minutes then lower heat more and cover.

Pasta's done, drain well, add to rest of mix with fresh basil, juice of ½ lemon, salt and pepper, toss/stir, serve. Top with your favorite grated cheese, none of the cheap shit either.
