I watched every second of that game - UD impresses the hell out of me. I don't see why they absolutely cannot win it all. If there was a team from the ACC or Big East (former) playing this well, no one would begrudge this speculation at all.

Good point. I remember everytime Gonzaga would win a game everyone would flip out. Now Wichita and Zags are expected to blow through their conference and make a run. It does seem like upsets are easier to come by. Every year it seems more likely a #1 seed loses their opener for the first time.

Dayton looked good again tonight. Now that we have had another chance to see em play... Florida can lose. Dayton has to gun from three. Thats what they got, a shooter's small ball chance. Florida is well coached and they'll have Dayton front line in foul trouble before the end of the first half IMO.

I've been off on most games lately, where do the line gurus have it at like Pom and Sag? Florida played well tonight shooting 50% but I don't see them as an offensive juggernaut to cover a double digit spread in the Elite 8. This after the fact that I've been hating on Dayton all week.

Nice call on Stanford game. I would love to see it as well, they looked great last night and are fun to watch. That 10/11 game was the Cinderella game, whoever won was going to be tapped the cinderella of this years tourney. I do of course think they still have no shot but they are now three wins in and officially one win from making tons of more people believers. Good call.

I will tell you this team is just another illustration of why you can't bet futures in ncaa tournament. Before or midway through. Dayton money lines so far using the common closing line...

So if they beat fla 100 bucks on dayton money line parlayed through each game just to get to final four would have paid 25380 dollars or over 252-1!!!! Many major books before the tournament had st joes to win it all in the 100-1 range. The crazy part is this 252-1 money line parlay is only this low because they played a low seed and surprise team being Stanford in round three and were only +150 in that game. Also despite three super impressive games the books still make Florida a hefty -700 and Dayton - juicy +500 price .
