#4Screw the bonus that you have to roll over many times before you can cash out. Take the -105 option with no bonus, you will come out ahead in the long run.Comment -

#714x is steep, but as they say as long as you're winning you will meet the rollover.
Cris is 8x, Betjamaica is 4x, but these are 100 for 100 freeplaysComment -

#10The only problem is, BetOnline imposes sanctions against professional players - and they define professional as, anyone who would accept an offer like this.
Basically, if you start off doing a lot of losing and continue to lose, you will be fine. But if you show any sign of winning, they will cut your limits and put you on delay and screw with your lines and do everything they can to make sure you aren't really getting this bonus.
And as mentioned, the bonus rollover terms do include the winnings from the freeplay. Think about it.Comment -

#11Just nail a parlay and just bet horses to show all day. Does it say anything about betting horses to show towards the rollover? if not then do that.Comment -

#12Well okay here's the upshot of that. You nail a parlay with your freeplay. Those winnings are part of the rollover so you now have a HUGE rollover to complete.
Supposing betting horses to show does count towards your rollover - so you start doing that. If it shows any signs that it may be successful they either change the rules in mid-stream and eliminate it, or else they cut your limits down to about one-twentieth. So you now need 5000 max bets to complete your rollover. After you get through about 4500 of those, they cut your limits more.
Plus they have you on wager delay so sometimes races are going off while you are still waiting for your bet to be confirmed. So your wagers get rejected.

#13I wouldn´t open an account with those clowns for a 100 bucks freeplay.
But if you do i would suggest you play only 1 side, i´d hate to build a scalping balance there.Comment -

#14I have been playing there, good numbers, haven't tried for a withdrawal yet.
Made rollover easy, even hitting a two team parlay with my free bet. But I made sure I only deposited 2X my average bet size, figured I could make my 6X in a week or two. Got my ID approved in advance too. Trying to give them a minimum of reasons to screw with me.
Are soft lines worth it?
A question you will have to answer for yourself. There are plenty of warnings out there about this book by legitimate posters who are being screwed around.Comment -

#15Well if they would change rules midway through the rollover then that is greasy. I would complain to VegasDave or crazyl, perhaps they'd be able to do something.Comment -

If you're going to play at Betonline, understand the bonus rules. A 2-unit deposit means you can zip through rollover, even if you hit a parlay on the freeplay.
Another thing - you're much more likely to stay under the radar with a 1-2k deposit than a 10k deposit.Comment -

#17The promo code only works for new customers. For existing customers, they offer $100 free play at sportsbook and $100 free play at casino for a $200 deposit. 14x rollover for sportsbook and 40x rollover for casino. Some casino games do not count for rollover. I don't play at the casino at all. I would imagine 40x rollover probably means the $100 free play at casino is worth $0. If there is a way to extract some equity out of it, please let me know. Thanks.Comment -

It also matters if the bonus is sticky or not (ie you loss it when you cashout/clear it) If this is the case then you want to play the bonus very aggressively by setting a high target and keep betting, say half you stack on blackjack and a have a thousand or two thousand as a target, till you bust or hit a decent target to make up for the fact you are losing your bonus.... The higher your target the more value you can expect to get from the bonus ("longterm" of course, because this a very high variance strategy)
You can also do this if the rollover is so high that it makes the bonus -EV when making many small bets or you don't feel it worth your time in completing it through smaller bets... Just bear in mind that the most likely result is your going to bust the bonus but that the times you hit your target you more then make up for it...
Not knowing what "casino free play" means or the excluded games makes it kindof hard to come up right stategy for the bonus... but I would bet that there is some way to make it +EV....Last edited by LVHerbie; 03-12-09, 06:40 AM.Comment -

#22Ok, let me see if I can predict how this will work. You deposit 100 and then get 100 so you have 200 to start with. You win a little with your first few bets and now you have $300 and you are approx halfway thru with wager requirement (for the purposes of the illustration it makes no difference what your remaining rollover is)
then you begin to notice that your confirm button doesn't work anymore. Ok, well it does work sometimes. But you need to wait up to 2 minutes to find out if it works or not. At first you think something is wrong with their or your browser/software. They tell you everything is perfectly normal and nothing has been done to your account. When you discover they are lying, CS will no longer actually talk to you because now you must speak with upper management.
At this point you are accused by upper management of being a "wise guy" or "syndicate" player and are told the delay is permanent.
Then you notice that you can no longer bet $10 per game. Now you can only bet 1$ per game. You become outraged that they have changed the rules in the middle of the game. You alert BOL as to this and also file a complaint with SBR.
BOL offers to allow you to leave, but only with $225 of the $300 balance you have remaining. SBR sends you an email saying how fair and just BOL is being in the case.
Now you have a decision. Do I let BOL steal $75 from me with SBR's blessing or do I stay and wager 1$ per game with a 2 minute delay until 2011 to get my money out??
So you have been warned. It is your call now!!
If I left anything out of this hypothetical--I am sure some of you will fill in the gaps.Comment
