Anyone who watched the game knew it was rigged down the stretch. Kentucky hit like one fg the last 5 min. Was all Fts and cheap ones too. I had Kentucky +4.5 so don't say I'm calling it rigged cuz I lost. Wichita shoulda won by 7+

meh Kentucky hit 3s they havent hit all year. They needed to play the game of their lives to win. I think Louisville will rout them next week. Wichita State was pretty soft on defense though. Good offensive team, but pretty soft.

Good game, both legit teams, I was pulling for Shockers. Announcer saying " even in defeat wichita st proved they are a #1 seed"' is a bit much. If they proved it what did kentucky prove as an eight seed? Also wichita st was smallest fave of all #1 seeds in round 2, bettors were not convinced and they were right.

i was hoping theyd go for two....i suspect marshall had in the back of his mind that van vleet had four fouls and early had three...uk had little to no foul issues....and not cuz of the reffing just cuz uk played a lot more physical than wichi in the 2h

This is not accurate, shooting was not out of the ordinary in ky favor at all. If anything it was slightly out of norm in fave of wichita st. Wichita shoots 35.1% from three and ky 32.7% versus much tougher defenses.

Of course, but they also have more 10x money and 50x more blue chip recruits. With the budgets and recruit access of the Big schools they should always beat these kid brother programs. Guys in big conferences making this argument are no different then Yankee fans complaining when another team signs a player for a big contract.
