It is almost April and that can only mean one thing: the start of another exciting Major League Baseball season! We are ringing in the new year with our initial month-long contest of the season, the MLB Play Ball 1500, with as the name implies 1500 Betpoints worth of SBR Sportsbook Free Plays on the line for the top 10 finishers. This contest begins with the opening Sunday Night Baseball contest on March 30th, 2014 and runs until the end of April on Wednesday, April 30th. You must make a minimum of 90 and a maximum of 180 MLB plays, and the contest includes Money Lines, Totals and Run Lines. All plays must be rated from 1 to 5, and the rating will be the BASE amount, so you will be playing To Win if odds are "-" and .Risk if odds are "+". Standings will be based on units.

Note: If there is a tie in units, the tiebreaker will be Action Points, which is how much you beat the line by on totals and run lines only. If still tied after Action Points, the prizes will be split.

Well well well! It is the last day of this MLB Contest and you could not have asked for a tighter race as three units separates first place from third place. Pill Gates (+155.85) has leapfrogged to first place over killough34 and mminkovski, forcing both of them to make plays today after sitting on the sidelines lately. And Phil Gates still has plays left also.

The May contest that starts tomorrow will have a tough time topping this one!
