Questions and thoughts about the new subforums....
We have a handicapper sub forum now. So basically all threads that are started with picks will be copied to this forum. If this is the idea, it doesnt make a whole lot of sense to me. Guys start threads in players talk all the time, and then request it be put it whatever section thier picks correlate to(if picks are mostly nba, they ask for nba forum ect ect) ...So I guess my question is, if they are started in players talk, are they gonna be copied to two forums? If they are started in players talk...just move the whole thread to that handicapper sub forum(Without it remaining in players talk). This would free up some clutter.

Also the other newly added sub forum "service plays"... Where do these come from. A couple that I saw were from the front page...why put them on the front page AND make a new forum for them. Some of the other picks, I had no idea who the guys were which leads me to ask where was this information received from?

Overall, these forums seem a bit worthless, but maybe when there is some clarification, I will understand them better and they will make more sense to have.

Also the location is somewhat awkard. Putting them right after the three "main forums" is a little weird. They idealy would be put at the bottom the handicapper contests site suggestions ect ect.

The emphasis on the new handicapper's forum is it is just another option to browse. Take for example sortable stats pages on major sports websites. The player's stats remain the same regardless, but you can choose to check them out in various different ways.

    Here at SBR...
-If you are looking for a few picks along with general discussion on everything, you can browse through players talk.
-If you are looking for picks and discussion on a specific sport, you can use one of the sports sub forums.
-If you are looking for picks and picks only, you can now use this forum. No trade talk, no in-game-threads, no "who do you got?", just picks. And all those other things are still available; in the other forums.

It is all about giving posters more options in how they want to navigate the forum. I personally just hit "New Posts" every few minutes. Everyone has their own way of going about it.

I included picks off of the front page to get the ball rolling. Others are from various "free picks" scattered around the internet. In time, as the forum catches on, I believe it will be a lot more poster-driven as posters start posting service plays that they have come across.

Hopefully this helped a little. We were excited to add these new features to SBR, and just like anything else, nothing is going to be perfect fresh out of the gate. With a bit of trial and error as well as feedback from you guys, we believe these two sub forums will fit right in

Is there any possible way to get all picks started in "Players talk" automatically moved to " Hadicapper Picks" forum?(Unless used in a spreadsheet)... This would 1. make some free space and 2. Would be the most logical way if you are offering a forum for handicappers picks then from that forum, they could be linked to sports specific forums.

Also, with the tout plays forum, I know this was not the intended purpose, but in reality, sbr in encouraging the stealing of other websites plays. For instance, I could go sign up for LT Profits' plays and record every play in that forum, thus resulting in the blatant thievery and somewhat reporting of copy written information(And how much do you think he would like this?).

        Just my two cents.

AAO, if eventually all picks ended up in one subforum the better. Everybody, no matter how many prior posts, are making picks these days, most of them worthless and locks. More analysis and less picks would be better for all involved.
