They're funny there. The dealers, for one, are retarded. Playing blackjack, I yelled 21 twice and the guy paid me both times when actually I went over.

The sportsbook is even better. They post the line and never, ever make a line move afterward. Half a team could be out with malaria and there's no line movement whatsoever.

the dealers are going through the motions there, so there are edges to be had especially if you land upon a dealer that is going home within an hour or so.

i went to thecrap table put a quarter on the 4, when it hit i told the dealer to put it all on the 5, should have now been 75 on the 5, but he only put 50 on the 5 and asked me for a buck for the quarter still on the 4,i then told him,no i want it all on the 5,so the moron put 75 on the 5,leaving the quarter on the 4.

the next day i tried it again with a different dealer, same result,he put the 75 on the 5,and left the 4 bet up.

Come on guys... I've been going to the Bahamas for the past 20 years and both Crystal Palace and Atlantis are good casino's. Yes, they are more lax than in Vegas but they are not in the business of losing money. They have lazy dealers just like every other place. I was in Lake Charles night before last and a dealer paid me $75 for a BlackJack on a $25 dollar bet. It happens.

I love the Bahamas. I use to go there once a month for years. I prefer Crystal Palace because it's not as uppity as Atlantis, have lower table minimums and is close to many restaurants. The sportsbook is more comfortable than Pegasus in Atlantis and you can walk right outside to the beach. If your a gambler, request a room there (Casino tower) and all you have to do is come down the elevator to the beach, pool or the casino. At Atlantis you have to walk a country mile to get to the pool and the beach is unusable because of large tides.

I know everyone at Crystal Palace and they are a fun bunch. Service in the Bahamas as a whole isn't like the Four Seasons. Everyone takes their time so don't be in a hurry but its made for you to relax, so just chill and have a good time. Check out the fish fry on Arawak Cay. Awesome seafood and you can take a jitney bus from the Sheraton there easily.
