World Baseball Classic - WORD OF CAUTION
Pitchers are limited to 70 pitches in the first three rounds, then 85 in the second, and then 100 in the semifinals.

If you think Dice K is gonna pitch a complete game, think again!

That's just an example. Don't you think that rule is important?

At 20 pitches per inning he won't get through the fourth. That's freaking important if you're capping this.

Dice K, struggled if I remember correctly in the 1st inning last year, lots of full counts. He seems to get himself in jams and then work his way out.

Look at his stats, he's dominant:

I don't see any weaknesses in his stats. Can anyone enlighten me?

im not ripping your info, im making fun of dice k

he walks a ton of guys, he is far from dominant unless youre willing to use up 3 innings, maybe 4, of your pen in half his starts

I am a Red Sox fan, there were many times Dice K would have innings where he would have high pitch counts, seemed to walk multiple batters, but he worked his way out of these situations. You can normally tell right away how his command is. He is a extremely proud man, so I am sure he wants to do good for his country. I just feel sometimes with Dice K he is one pitch away from getting shelled. He puts himself in jams, but to his credit is able to get out of the majority of them.

he pitched well in the opener against oakland last year when they played out there.

I didn't follow baseball last year. It's just that going by the stats Dice K had a Cy Young type year. The stats don't tell the whole story, thanks for your point of view.

With that in mind, what's your lean? Japan -1.5 or Korea +1.5 or a ML play?

trust me, this guy isnt close to a cy young guy until he gets his walks down and his innings per start up

until then he is a bullpen taxer
he is good, but he loads the bases every inning before striking out the side

Personally I am not a fan of playing +1.5 on baseball games, I would take the ML over +1.5. Also I have no interest in laying -280 or whatever the line is on Japan. I think I may play the over 7.5 +110, thats what I just saw at BJ, but I haven't looked around yet at the other lines.

                            It's over 8 +110 at bookmaker.

I took Korea +220. It should be a classic.
