I tried to put all Bread's ghosts on ignore list and I got a PM from Willie Bee telling me I shouldn't do it because the software can't handle that many ghosts on ignore.

I understand when a person is on ignore you don't see the content of their posts (just their name where they posted), but what about their thread titles? Are those visible?

Yes those are visible. You can also see when someone quotes them within a thread.

I can only hope that future generations of IGNORE technology will correct these flaws. Research and Development is needed.

It does seem rather pointless to have someone on ignore with all these reminders that they're breathing down your neck.

I wouldn't characterize it as pointless at all.

To me it's the equivalent of someone saying, "We can't get rid of all your spam and telemarketing calls but we can get rid of a good chunk with a couple of mouseclicks." I still call that a good deal.
