but even with that Boston could still win late (when the truth takes over in the 4th)

its a toss up that I'll just bet for fun.

He's overrated. He is an amazing athlete, a great (but not the best) defender, can create highlight reels by himself anytime he goes to the rim, but he has two kryptonites.

1.) He is not an elite jumpshooter.
2.) He is a horrendous FT shooter.

The media has made this guy so huge that those two facts are often overlooked, but to me, basketball wise, this guy is not leaps and bounds ahead of a player like "Paul Pierce", yet his superstar status would indicate otherwise.

Lebron is not even the best player in the league, Kobe is.

Line is right on, would be the normal 3.5 if Gahhnet was in...and CrazyLou, i partly agree w/ the Lebron thing yet one of his biggest plus sides is the impact he has when he is on the court...the respect he gets, thus making the C players on his team B players

Have to think a Garnett-less Celtics in this situation will make their emphasis on defense. If they can force Lebron into taking those clumsy jumpshots all night, I think they can get it done at home.

I agree that lebron is overrated and not nearly at kobe's level but I think he goes off tonight.

Yeah, isn't saying much. Even Rajon Rondo could outshoot Lebron James.

Maybe a stretch, but I'd bet he is better from the FT line.

I have the NBA package and I've seen EVERY Cavalier game. Your either drunk or crazy when you watch him play. Did you see him and Wade go up against each other the other day??? He had 42, Wade had 41 BUT Wade took twice as many shots to get his 41.

Lebron's outside shooting is much improved but it's his defense and unselfishness on offense that set's him apart from Kobe. Yeah Kobe can get 40 but how many assists? Lebron is a virtual triple double every night.

Quit hating and enjoy the show...

BTW - The Cavs will win this game easily. Matchups to watch are Mo and Rondo. Advantage Rondo, Lebron and Pierce, Advantage lebron. Perkins and Z, Advantage Z.

Delonte West will be an xfactor but so may Marbury for the C's. Cleveland will win the rebound game and that will prove the difference. The Cav's matchup very well with the C's. Much better than with Orlando and even Atlanta. Take the Cav's 1st half and for the game.

There has been many rumors that Stern has conspired against the Cav's and Lebron by trying to get him hurt by having the refs NOT make calls and to also make travel calls (crab dribble, etc.). his d sets him apart from kobe? some of the plays he makes on d may look better on highlight reels but he not even in same league as kobe when it comes to on the ball d

I dont see it that way. I watched the Hawks game on ESPN. I saw the Pacers game. I think the guy gets too many late game calls.
