Well... I did some research on flights already heading to a few locations.

London round trip from Detroit $1,200-$1,500

Punta Cana round trip from Detroit using Spirit Airlines I can get it for around $520

San Jose Costa Rica I can get it for around $450

I don't know if laying 1k+ heading to London is worth it? Hmmmmmmmm

Hey Shari, sorry to hear about the long travel times. That sucks. Can you give me more info on what a bash to DR or costa rica would look like and cost involoved. Im a canadian from toronto. I haven't been to an Sbr bash before. What do you have to pay for, out of pocket? Are we talking hotel and plane ticket? Whats the deal with the sponsership? How do they factor into the situation? Cost rica or DR sound like more of a vacation than some of the other places. I loved it when I went to DR and slid my beachfront door open and walked 10 feet to the beach.

I had the opportunity to do 2 of tem Costa Rica in 2011 and Las Vegas 2012. . In the 2 opportunities SBR paid for the 2 days 5 stars hotel . I suggest to fly via El Salvador from Pearson, avoiding Miami at all cost.

So what's the point then? SBR won't have a sponsor and y'all will be paying for everything on your own. No flights, no rooms, no poker, no dinner. Why not just start a thread making a mini bash? I don't care either way and in fact it's 16hours less travel time for me to Vegas...I just love watching the dummies making wasted votes after John said it's not happening there.

anyone who gambles a fair bit can get discounts almost anywhere in vegas. I can stay at any MGM property for free. I can stay free at the nugget if I choose the south tower or 29 a night for the Rush tower. Going there is fine with me. That being said, I would much prefer CR and as I haven't been to Puta Cana that would be ok too.

Macau is tuff to get to, but once there many once in a lifetime Asian fantasies would be fulfilled. Also, for those interested in this type of thing. The entrance **** is the size of a big stamp and they don't ask how much money you are carrying. Then they don't stamp your passport. Like you were never even there.
