not to pick the champions of the last 4 years picking UCONN and UK to win it all was clear as day. Honestly 2 of the easiest future bets I've ever made or just predictions of sports in general. Throw in unc in 2009 and it was just as clear for them too. Basically was NBA players vs college kids.

UCONN was a 3 seed but they were overrated and finished 9th in BE play. They went on a tear with Kemba to win both tournaments at the end of the year. That was definitely hard to call.

oh that's right, a 3 seed, and before they caught fire and wont the BE tourney, they were a bubble team and quite frankly would not have made it. picking them to win the whole thing was not an easy call as the poster Brooks85 would have you think.

dominant #1 seeds that year in Ohio St (32-2), Duke (30-4) and Kansas (32-2), not to mention some very tough 2 seeds as well.

UCONN got very fortunate not to have to face #1 Duke in the regional final as Duke got ko'ed by Zona. then Uconn got to face 4 seed Kentucky in the final 4 instead of 2 seed UNC or 1 seed Ohio State.

in the final game UCONN got 8 seed Butler.

they had a much easier road than it could have been without the upsets that ko'ed strong teams they would have faced
