Surprised no one is talking about it yet.

I used to use Accuscore's game projections frequently to look at what their model predicted.

Until today, you didn't have to have an account to see the forecasts and some articles, but certain other things were pay-only.

Now, everything is pay. You cannot view anything without an account, and if you only have a free account, all you get is occasionally a little bit of information, but not much.

Oh well. I don't pay for any touts or prediction services, so I won't get Accuscore info anymore unless it gets posted up somewhere.

is for a free account. They make it hard to find, to boot. If you click register, you're pushed into the pay thing.

I'm pretty sure. I tried a few different things, but game forecasts can no longer be accessed unless they decide to give one out for free. Right now they said they'll give one forecast a day for free if you sign up for a free account.

        Business Wire , August 14, 2007

LOS ANGELES -- AccuScore launches first ever site dedicated to sports forecasting. AccuScore.com is the first site to provide serious sports fans with tools, content, and the most accurate simulation forecasts for free. The visually stimulating interface features interactive tools that cater to the needs of AccuScore's serious and knowledgeable sports fan.
The new site will feature Free Fantasy Forecasting tools, an active and intelligent community fed by the roll-up of StatShark.com, as well as interactive game previews that forecasts thousands of games per-year. In addition, AccuScore.com will now offer written commentary and analysis, as well as video blogs that give viewers expanded insight into each match-up that go beyond the numbers.
AccuScore continues to produce the industry's most sustainable win percentages and detailed analysis for the NFL, MLB, NCAA Football and Basketball. The company is the process of expanding its service to cover all major sports and is in advanced development of its predictive model for NASCAR, PGA and NHL.
"As we expand AccuScore, we want to make sure that we are providing our viewers the most comprehensive sports information on the market," said Jason Manasse, CEO of AccuScore. "We are excited to put our personal commentary to the analysis and further satisfy growing needs for fans looking to gain an edge. We look forward to our continued partnership with sports community by giving the public the opportunity to utilize components of AccuScore's analysis at no cost."
"The simulation models we have built for the various sports include player, team, and environmental conditions," said Stephen Oh, VP of Product and co-Founder. "It's like actually playing the game before it's played, but instead of only playing the game once like other simulations out there, we play the game at least 10,000 times to get the most comprehensive picture of what will happen."

            accuscore is overrated

I've seen too many of their forcasts not come any where close to the actual results

It may help getting an idea but there are way more effective handicapping methods

              there were signs of it.

They used to give free info to sportsline.com and the predictions of the games would be posted with the sportsline previews. That stopped a few months ago.

well, you wouldn't put money down strictly based on their info. They are frequently way off. They claim you would make money using them, but from my experience, I'm not so sure about that.

However, for free, it was a useful tool to look at.

perhaps you would make money using them if you bet their odds over 10000 games, as they do.
