There are quite a few sharps here. Believe it or not. The Think Tank is a great resource for bouncing ideas off of other sharps. There is a great deal of information related to the industry here, like book payment histories, confiscations, etc. It's counter productive to post picks if you have no desire to prove anything to anyone. Some games could be lucky, others not. It's hard to say. Not even the sharpest handicappers models are 100% accurate. But if you are familiar with the people who post in the Think Tank, it's hard to argue that they don't know what they're talking about.

One poster shared some NCAAF data. I made an extra 20k last NCAAF season because of our cooperative work.

Another poster and I exchanged info about promotions from a certain A+ book the last couple years. We destroyed the promotion (there's no way it would last), but we both made out.

I've received a ton of information about sportsbooks, both publicly and privately. While I haven't avoided a stiffing, I've certainly avoided headaches from avoiding books.

SBR is a goldmine for pro players. If you give a little out, you get even more back.

I guess my main point of this thread was the guys who think they are Sharps trying to hate on other players. If you are a sharp, congrats! But there is no reason to run around acting better then anyone else........I guarentee out of everyone who claims to be sharps that probably 40% of them really are, the rest are just dreaming.

I can see how you might think some of the "sharp" posters act like know it alls, but I disagree with the idea if they are sharp they don't post here.

Why wouldn't they hang around here? I don't care how good someone gets at something, there is always more to learn. There are some very smart people in this forum who share their knowledge. Gamblers should always be looking for new ideas and new angles to improve their trade.

I would question more a "sharp" who knows about this forum and chooses to not hang around the think tank.

The best info is generally not made public. If it becomes too widely known, the opportunities cease to exist. See: +100 6pt NFL teasers. I fear +180 3 teamers are next. However, there is much to be gained from sharing good info with a couple of people privately.
