I get Winnipeg radio where I live and it said that Favre was offered a contract for a year.He would make in a full season what he was making playing a half a game the last few years. The GM that was talking was almost laughing like it was an April Fools joke but I suppose it's worth floating an offer.I imagine it would pack the house if he did play CFL ball.He could probably work out a deal where he gets an incentive bonus where he gets a big percentage of the extra attendance this year over what they were getting on average last year.
I don't think Favre's arm being that it's spent would do very well in the CFL where you have the huge field.If he embarrassed himself last year throwing rainbows,what would he do on a huge field with 1 less down.Then you have to be able to run too.Talk about a publicity stunt even less thought out than the Jets hiring him.
