when i parlay full games i usually get burned....when i parlay 1h's i usually get burned...i not bad at parlaying 2h's. i think its time to surrender and just starting betting straight even if is like 10 plays a day..any advice??

I normally hit 1 out of 5 a week. I'll just put anywhere from 2-5 bucks down on a 5 teamer every day. I normally lose, but sometimes I get lucky and turn 2 bucks into 40 or 50Comment -
you usually get burned because parlays are what the industry calls "sucker bets". If you bet parlays you are going to lose all your money to the books. It is hard enough finding a winner on a given night let alone having to win multiple games to win a single bet.Comment -

My suggestion, if you parlay a lot it's better for you to use moneyline on sure picks, it usually works and most of the time you get at least 90% of the parlay that way, though you win usually as well.Comment -

Right, there's no such thing as those sure picks but you can base those picks on recent statistics and of course, knowing about the game and both teams on their side. Par2 are reasonable, while Par3 should be seldomly use. I usually do par3's to vent off some steam after losing a big bet. It's better to risk losing little on a par3 than dropping large on a str8 wager when your in chasing mode.Comment -

your right gold i always feel like a sucker......especially if i do a parlay w/ games at 7:00 at night parlayed w/ 10:00 games.. i'll win the 7's but get burned on the 10's so all that work and capping was useless.......problem is i love action and i dont bet big so if i take all the teams i play in a straight bet paying the juice isnt real worth it for me...for example....i'll bet a 20$ parlay on boston and NY tonight to win 56$ but if i was to bet it straight i'm wagering like 60 to win 40 so even if i win one straight i still lose...i dunno i'm rambling now.. i just want to hit a big parlay just once like a 10$ 8 teamer.....lolComment -
