the bad beat of the week is...
The first choice we have is the OU/Oregon game. I think we all seen how badly the refs screwed up this game. Unfortunately I happen to have OU on the ML

The second choice we have is the Pardres/Dodgers game a few nights ago. 4 straight solo home runs in the bottom of the 9th by the Dodgers to tie it up, and a home run in the 10 by the dodgers to win the game.

    I voted OU/Oregon.

Because in the Dodgers/Padres game, the players won/lost the game, not the officials.

      Eagles/Giants can be, one, also.

What the Dodgers did the other night is unbelieveable - in how they did it, that is.

I also believe that OU did it to themselves. They had chances to win - sure the ref f'd them to the nth degree, but they STILL had chances and did nothing.

SD is only the bad beat IMO because of the feat that took them down. That's damn impressive.

Agree with everything said here. Those Pac-10 refs got off terribly light as well with just a single week suspension.

I chose OU/Oregon, but I think NYG/Phl would have been a close second if that were a choice.

Marked my ballot with the Padres loss to the Dodgers the other night.

I never lose any sleep when OU loses, and McBa1n is right in that as bad as the refs stuck it to the Sooners, they still didn't take advantage of their own good plays and position.

Toss up between the meaningless Buckeye field goal and the Toledo OT interception return for a td that covered the 5.5.

I think if you had Kansas +2.5 1H against Toledo, that might garner a few votes. KU leading by five points with 30 seconds left in the half when Toledo connects on a hail mary on 4th and 20, followed by a successful two-point conversion to cover the number. That's a bad beat...

There was no OT interception return for a TD. An OT interception game them the ball and their RB scampered for a 25-yard TD to win. But true, two OT turnovers by Kansas gave Toledo the opportunity to cover. Still a bad beat...
