alright guys rock bottom in the economy hits the bigger corps
So ive worked at target for 2 years now and have been a front lanes supervisor for the past 8 months, pretty laid back job. I work in one of the highest volume( sales and head count) in northern California, and by far the biggest revenue store in Sacramento. Over the past 2 months like every place out there we've gone through lay offs and cutting hours. Now they've asked me to take a demotion down to a GSA posistion( the same exact thing im doing now they jsut dont want to pay me for it) which is a $3 an hour paycut, not to mention my hoursare down from 40 to 32, whats next.....may have to lower my unit size

unemployment get you 60% of your previously salary

if you were making 4K after taxes..... you'd get nearly $2500/month to do nothing.. not bad

You'll still be working 32 hours...so you will get screwed. Unless you can get completely laid off.
