    Do you track you action?
Though i am not dependant on this income nor does it affect my family and I's every day lives. Money wise. I do take it very seriously and have for this being my 11th year. I have recently closed about 13 accounts and just stick with only the ones i feel safe leaving high 4 figure to low 5 figure amounts. CRIS, Mansion, Skybook, Tradewinds, Pinnacle, Matchbook, Legendz. I wager on Atp Tennis, Wta Tennis,Futbol, Nfl, Cfb, Nba, Cfb, Nhl, Mlb.

I use microsoft excel spreads to track all my action. Spend anywheres from 10-15 hours a week just updating.

Each sport has its own sheet, along with a weekly spread, monthly spread and ytd to date spread. I know maybe ima little of the wall. But it helps beleive me. Helps me to stay disciplined and on top of of everything i have goin on.

Heres my format i use for each individual sport and would like others to share if they want.

    IN HORIZONTAL FASHION OF COURSE
    DATE
    LEAGUE (FOR CALCIO)
    TOURNEY (FOR TENNIS)
    MATCH
    PICK
    ODDS
    STAKE
    RETURN
    PROFIT
    W-L-D
    W-L-D %
    MONTH TO DATE STAKE
    MONTH TO DATE RETURN
    MONTH TO DATE PROFIT
    ROI

This is the setup i use for each individual sport daily. Then at the end of every month i update the monthly and yearly spreads.

On average for 2006. My monthly turnover has been 67,000 usd monthly. ROI goal is from 1-8%. Doesnt seem like much at all and if you chat with ignorant wannabe monopoly playing posters at say the rx and many many other forums. They'll tell you they can easily achieve 5x's that. Well those are the ones to not even bother wasting your breath with. Even at a 1% return on say 804,000 would be some nice extra little side monies of 8,040.00

Anyways i like this site and have respect for many posters here. I like the no bull shit attitude and leaving the ego at the door. Unlike 99% of most BS gambling scam forums we have on the web.

If anyones will to share how they track their action it would be nice to hear some feedback on my approach both postive and negative. I have thick skin so all is good.

    Thanks OH

I used to track my plays using a spreadsheet and I know how much work that takes just updating it. But it's very handy when you have multiple sportsbook especially when some are in your local currency and some are in USD.

I'm currently a full-time student in a very intensive electrical/mechanical/computer engineering program while working full-time as well so I don't have the time to keep track of my plays. It does supplement my tuition nicely.

I'd have to say any profit is better than no profit and I'd take a 1% ROI any day.

it's tough keeping spreadsheets updates when you're on a losing streak.

I use wagerstation. All the bets are entered before the game, parlay/teasers/scalps too, it grades everything for me and I can produce virtually any report I desire.

Lots of people do not track wagers because it shows how much they are really losing and players do not like that and then their betting patterns cahnge trying to chase money.

A pro will track mainly and a small % of casual players only will track.
