I don't even know what to call it. Not breaking a lease, as we are on a month-to-month, however, because we did not give a 60 day notice, they are going to try and charge us $450. There was no deposit, so it will be impossible for them to collect unless I give it to them. My question is will they sell this to a C.A.? There is no way that I'm paying this for a variety of reasons, one of them being we can't even drink the fukking water out of the kitchen taps. Terrible property manager. Will they try and collect on this? god bless.

Chet, document the conditions. Get a video camera and show the water, anything else like that. It could be a hassle if they push it, but you can push back with documentation. Do you have any records of asking them to fix stuff that went unfixed? Anything like that, you can get 'em by the short curlies.Comment -
When we told the building manager about the water, they told us to drink the water from the bathrooms (it's clean there). No joke. When guests come over, we have to fetch water out of one of the bathrooms. Also, we are leaving on the 16th. They will have two full weeks of a paid for apartment to view.
