This team is a legitimate contender this year, and no, I'm not just saying this now. Even after the bad Providence loss, my feelings about this team didn't change at all.

So many people bashed Louisvillekid for mentioning this team in his thread regarding which 5 teams he believed had the best shot to cut the nets this year, but I agree they have a great chance to make a deep run this year.

Creighton is a soft jump shooting team, but Villanova is the same thing. I just cant believe a team can shoot 21-33 on 3s ina game. Most teams wont shoot that in practice, and the shots Creighton was shooting were mostly beyond the NBA line.

Villanova drilled Providence by 30 at Villanova.
Providence beats Creighton by 13 at Providence.
Creighton beats Villanova by 40 at Villanova?????????
