Normally I hate betting chalk, but this is truly my Monday Game of the Day. For one, books haven't taken into account the Georgia Southern suspensions of Julian Allen, Trumaine Pearson, and Antoine Johnson--these individuals combined for 28 points, 4 steals, 4 blocks, and 17 rebounds the last time these two teams met (Citadel won 84-75). Also, Georgia Southern's leading man Willie Powers put up 14 points, 6 assists, and 3 rebounds in the last meeting--but he has been unable to play since January 14th with an injury to his leg.
Also, Citadel would truly love this win coming off their recent loss to Wofford, especially since it means if they manage to win here, they tie Charleston for 2nd in the Southern Conference. Look for Demetrius Nelson, Cameron Wells, Zach Urbanus, and the emerging John Brown to have big games tonight.
