it is so sad what life has become.. when i grew up, there were no gambling addicted kids.. today, it's so sad how kids are addicted at age 18.. and it will get only worse. at my local 7-11 here, at 6 pm, there are tons of 11 yr old kids filling out sports lottery tickets for 10 bucks, etc.. when i grew up, watching my idol playing hockey was great and when my team lost, i felt so sad and cried. i was a real fan. today, kids dont even watch sports anymore unless they got money on a game. how sad is that?

life has changed and i feel so bad for these kids today.. there will be no marriages, more suicide, more depression now because of internet gambling and so on..

like i said, i am so happy i grew up in my time and not today.. my fun was being in the park all day playing baseball, then meeting after supper for the big ball hockey game, instead of sitting home and gambling like the kids today.

i have lost 10k since i turned 21 (1 year and 3 days ago) but have recently said I am stopping to gamble

I just got another out and resume betting tomorrow

marriages will be down.. divorces will be so high.. suicides will be astronomical.. drugs and alcohol will go up.. depression will be at its highest.. and all because of gambling..

onner, you are lucky your parents are well off and you live at home.. some dont have it so good..

Speaking as a younger guy with a level head and being profitable in my 5 year sports/poker "career" I have already seen a few of my peers destroy their lives, relationships, and hurt their family and friends over gambling that is the shit that helps me keep straight and under control. I still think gambling problems are in the minority for young guys but having it be so available to us starting at 18 with scratch off's, office pools, turf clubs, and after school poker games its bound to breed more victims.

Thats right up there with poker, no joke.

Think about it. They are every where such as 7-11's, WaWa, Sheetz, Supermarkets, Bus/Train Stations, Malls.

Easy access.
