Man I love the early morning, especially Sunday mornings when it's so damn quiet with nobody else in the house. Slept in to a little after five this morning, about to have some breakfast then head out for some early errands. Chilly here right now, 33°F, but should warm up to mid-60s even though we're still going to have a lot of wind.

Plan on getting some work done outside, watch the Missouri/Kansas game, get some more work done then grill some fish. What's everyone else doing today?

It's the first of the month so that means accounting day. I'll get started at that momentarily.

Then I want to get some spreadsheet work done in preparation for baseball. Some regular betting of course. I'll have to figure out something nice for dinner. Probably take a trip over to the grocery store.

That sounds like a lot of sitting on my butt and eating. Hmmm, better get a workout into the mix at some point.

I've been awake since 0500h this morning thanks to the 50 MPH gusts we've got coming off the ocean. I go from glancing at all the spindly little bull pines on my property that will likely suffer some casualties before this front moves through, and the staggering beauty of the swells on the Pacific. Here's to hoping the trees stay put and the power stays on.

Been blowing and going past couple of days here as well, RS, but calming down today. Got monthly reports done and submitted at the office, bought some turnbuckles for gate/fence at Home Depot, did the grocery shopping and back home now, already warming up to about 50 so planning on getting out in the sunshine.

JJ, when you wake up alone, as stated in the opening post, it makes it difficult to take the wife out. STay in the game, god bless.

Sounds like you've got an awesome day ahead, Willie, I hope it's every bit as enjoyable as possible. We're just battening down the hatches over here, weather man says expect 1-3 inches in the next 48 hours. That suits me just fine, because I was out in the woods shooting yesterday and all the creeks look to be barely above their summertime levels. Hopefully it'll be a wet spring and we can avoid a drought. How are the reservoir levels in your area?
