But I think everyone expects that from baseball because it has been like that for a very long time. A commercial or two when players are going from the outfield to the dugout and getting ready to bat is perfectly understandable in my opinion because that is literally time where no game action happens.

With the NFL though, a game with 48 minutes of playing time should not be on TV for 2:30 - 3 hours.

I've watched about 20 minutes of football in the last 5 years - I sure dont need to watch it to bet on it. I think it needs to be banned. What decent parent would allow their kid to play it all it takes is one good hit and a kid is in a wheelchair for life. What is so disgusting is to see communities at football games honor their wounded as though it was an honor. I havent seen anyone given that kind of praise for getting into a car wreck on the way to picking up a pizza. You play football - you are asking to be run over by a tank sometimes and you damn sure arent defending your country. This is one sick ass country.
