what is so amazing is how people put so much into two players - there is an offensive line defensive line etc. people on here act like they're going to a western or something john wayne against glen ford or whoever - that could be it, 8 year olds talking about football in the backyard.

the patriots are a team of destiny. with jamie collins stepping up there are no holes on that defense. they will run over everything in their path. the only team that worries me is san fran but i think seattle will take them down leaving an easy team to run over for the pats super bowl victory. legarrette blount will be bringing b.l.o style to the world

Bailey waiting on his next endzone interception of Brady
but he is old now, will probably only run it back 34 yards instead of 99

i think Brady is the best qb of this era and he loves to crush that stat stuffers dreams. this game will be decided in quarter 4 where Peyton usually throws his pick. ml is no lock against best coach and qb in the game.

i agree John Fox couldnt coach his way out of a wet paper bag. Thats why he got ran out of Carolina.
But on this team John Fox knows he is just a puppet. Peyton Manning is essentially the head coach and offensive coordinator.

Simply amazing what Beli/Brady have done this year with half of their team injured and all of Brady's weapons gone. But I agree here Manning will advance and make his 3rd appearance Pats just too short handed. Interesting fact I heard yesterday Brady has not played a road playoff gm since '06 and it was a loss to Peyton's Colts!

Are you talking about the same john fox who almost beat the pats in the superbowl with jake delhomme as a qb?

It's big, some saying as big or bigger than Von Miller being out. Problem for Patriots is they don't have the depth or speed at receiver to really take advantage of this. Thompkins and Dobson are both questionable for the game and I am going to watch their status. If neither plays and maybe even just Thompkins plays going to be hard for the Patriots to hang, but if both are in I like the Patriots chances.

almost only counts in hand grenades and horse shoes.
It was John Fox's dumbass that wanted to re-sign Jake after he turned the ball over 6 times
against the Arizona Cardinals in the 2008 NFC Divisional round.
Fox Crippled the franchise for a good 5 years with that horrendous decision.
Fox is a horrible coach. Way too conservative and he doesnt own a pair of testicles.
but the Broncos are good in spite of John Fox... Fox is merely a co-defensive coordinator for the Broncos wearing a hat that says head coach. Jack Del Rio is a much better football mind than fox.
and like i said Peyton Manning is essentially head coach and offensive coordinator for the Broncos.
so please do us all a favor and dont even mention john fox in the same sentence as the great Billy B

Okay sorry big bear. I didn't think fox had to do much coaching with this team . Then again he won a playoff game with tim tebow as well.

I hate that cliche, you could have said that about SD entering the playoffs, the amount of flukie outcomes they needed to even get in all came together for them.

But if Vyomguy says Broncos win the Broncos will win.
its really that simple.
But i guess i just hate john fox as a coach. All Panthers fans hate John Fox as a coach and Jake Delhomme as a player.
both are decent people i assume but they sure made it hard to be a panthers fan during their era.

I think the line will stay at 4-4.5 (the accurate line...maybe even 3.5) and that will be a sign that Broncos are the play. If they move it back towards 6 (very skewed) people will interpret it as sharp money (and bet accordingly...just like y'all did when they moved it down) or something corny along those lines....if they move lower towards 3 the Broncos money will ROLL in...Starting at 6 and moving to 4 or 4.5 MAXIMIZES patriots money...that's not really a debate...
I think the money line will climb towards 250 and the spread will stay the same...if both those occur I'd say you can hold the funeral for Pats ML and possibly the spread...

The only era the panthers ever had was the fox era minus one run to the nfc title game with dom capers in a weak nfc.

I'm impressed with what the Patriots managed all season given how many players they lost to injury/off field issues (recall Hernandez). Gronk goes out with ACL, Wilfork down, Amendola off/on...the list goes on. So the fact that they managed 12-4 season is impressive. However their record pre-season/post-season is inflated just check their schedule: Bills, Jets, Bucs, Falcons, Saints (won by 3 at home), Jets, Dolphins, Steelers, Broncos (this one was monster comeback at home so a big win), Browns, Texans, Dolphins, Ravens, Bills. Only decent teams all season were Broncos (crazy win mentioned above), Bengals (loss), Saints (won by 3 at home), Panthers (loss).
Basically any good team they played last year on the road they lost, and they've only played 4 good teams last year one time each. If the Cardinals or even Rams replaced Patriots' slot in their division they would've been rolling. Pats had impressive season considering but little chance they win in Denver (maybe 20%). Have you guys even seen how quiet it gets with Manning on the field? And how many penalties resulted from his hard counts?
Also - I'm not impressed with the beatdown against the Colts. That was the easiest game last weekend to predict (Colts beating the Chiefs' 2nd-string team doesn't impress me either).

Brady doesn't lose to manning in these games or any to be honest. Peyton only has a few wins against Brady out of 13-14 games played. Ur burning ur money if u bet against belicheck when he's up against manning. This will not end well for Denver backers/fans. Pats win 35-24. Pats beat sf in Super Bowl 24-20.

dumpster diving is the best, I found a very nice humidor and 4 nice kitchen chairs a few weeks ago outside a dumpster near house. I live in auburn, so all these spoiled kids with mom and dad paying for everything will just set anything out, and I am reaping all the benefits.
Looks like Brady had the sniffles and missed practice today, line moved and can get Pats at +7 -137 on 5Dimes. Dobson practiced today and that could be big. If he is healthy he would be Pats best outside/deep threat and Broncos pass D going to be suspect Sunday.
