In my opinion the play calling was what you had to do in Denver. Tried to run and couldn't. Rivers really didn't have the weapons he needed. That rookie head coach... it is what it is. You know what I mean? Didn't have the right game plan. Everything opened up in the 4th Q because pass rushers were tired and San Diego was running crossing routs everywhere on the field. Plus Rivers threw some amazing passes. Video game passes. Unreal passes. San Diego backers lucky to cover the spread.
