Smitch, we didn't use a Victrola in the 60s. We had a turntable for our 45s.

Crayzee, have to disagree with you on the 'nothing after' notion. Lots of good music since the 70s. I hear new stuff in different genres all the time that I like, from some relatively new bands like The Band of Heathens and The Greencards, to old farts putting out good new stuff like David Lindley, John Hiatt and Rodney Crowell.

When I was typing in Lindley's name, it made me think of this album he and Ry Cooder did with their kids at the Vienna Opera House back in the 90s. Had to put the CD on, mostly covering some of their own stuff and others, but a pretty good album. I'm a big David Lindley fan, one of those old session guys that almost everyone has heard, but few have heard of him.

One of my faves from the 70s (not as old as some of you, phux!)
