Shorting can occur by mutual agreement between posters. SBR will not be acting as a margin broker however or participating in policing short sales.

Each poster is limited to 100 shares at the IPO price of 6 points. Whatever the amount of shares sold on the IPO will be the total outstanding but keep in mind SBR redeems and sells at NAV so the outstanding number will fluctuate. If the fund gets to big for the managers we will halt sells for a while.

Thank you for the clarification. I see a real opportunity here for short sales. At initial offering many people will seek Loans from the common lenders here to cover their 100 share entry. A minimal risk for the loan originator as they now have a backed security situation were the collateral is literally inflated in value to almost double it's original worth. AKA 6 points to 10.

Most loans will be paid, but at what percentage will the loans default? Leading to a lot of low priced fire sale Shares hitting the market to recoup the loan. Tons of room for speculation.

i just dont see how with 100-500-1000-2000 pt limits on different stuff how a huge team of people splitting things make enough for this to be worth it...or is the "worth" not so much in the points building up slowly over time but in the frantic trading/buying/selling/shorting/puts calls ?
