I keep reading this, but he has to know someone who is gambling literate. Or, better yet, once his ticket went viral didn't he have enough gamblers, among others, screaming in his ear to hedge his bet? There had to be some people, even complete degenerates, that could have helped him in some way and explain precisely what his winning play was to guarantee himself money. I know it's a 'fan' betting on his team, but when it becomes a $50,000 payout then I think it becomes more than that.
