Why post picks if you refuse to give your rationale?

It's one of the most frustrating things on this site. You ask someone why they made a pick and they ignore you or just say "Cause it's a good play" or something. Why do people do that?

That's fine but I only asked for your rationale on one of your plays and you just say "It's a winner." If someone asks for my rationale on a play I'll give it to them if I have time. I think it's only fair. I'm not asking for your reasons for every play just a play here and there.

It's no problem, you don't owe me anything. You're not the only poster who does this so I'd like to hear from the others as well.
