Yeah Mayer's box of tricks will create havoc upon anybody doesn't matter who they are, a consistent brilliant shotmaker and creativity to his game. Lobs, slice and dice, flattening out the ball. All this variety. Unfortunately for him though he's up against an amazing athlete and one whom can slide on the hardcourt, so he is going to have come up with the level he played at against Murray IMO. Or near to. He's also not the fittest player on tour Florian and I expect this to take a role against monfils ability to keep getting the ball back and then going for counter.

Mayer has beaten nadal, ferrer and murray all in his career. It's good value and worth the stab, if you're a casual tennis punter. Best of luck. I'm on overs myself, will cheer you on if it's in 3.

Monfils can beat anyone when healthy and motivated to play, and he's looked absolutely superb so far. I opted for Mayer Under 10 games won (-101) as it offered a bit more flexibility than the -4. Monfils should win fairly comfortably.

Genuine advice. Bet inplay and wait for Mayer to take an early lead. I expect he may do just that. Monfils hasn't played anyone that talented since the start of the season. Gasquet was injured, had an injured back and played through it, so he was effectively a sitting duck and albeit Brands beat Ferrer, he is a hit and miss player and missed against Monfils.
